Red Ruby F1- is a prolific papaya hybrid that is early maturing (115-120 DAT) and tolerant to Papaya Ring Spot Virus (PRSV). The plants are vigorous and bear 25-30 fruits/plant. The fruits are long in shape and measures 28 cm in length and 12.3 cm in diameter. Average fruit weight is 2.25 kg. The flesh is very attractive that is red-orange in color and around 3 cm thick with 11-12% sugar content. Red Ruby F1 has excellent eating quality.
